 Dear Parents,

 A warm greeting from the fraternity of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Pune Kendra.

We hope you are doing well.  Please take care of yourself and your family. As you are aware the corona virus is hampering our day to day life and our education sector isn’t left unscathed too. Still as educators we are leaving no stone unturned to  educate our students in every possible way.

Due to nationwide lockdown, our Schools were completely closed from 13^th March 2020 and  have not been allowed to reopen.  We are now preparing to  reopen our School,  as per the  guidelines provided  by the Education Department of Government of Maharashtra and  standards of operations and procedures provided by concerned Government authorities.

You are aware that after the final examinations were called off due to lockdown, we  have given assignments, worksheets to the students through our dedicated SMS service.

Now the summer vacation of April and May is over.  As per the guidelines, our teachers and Heads have joined the school from 8^th June 2020, and they all are following norms of social distance, wearing mask and washing hands at regular intervals.  We are now planning for the academic year 2020-21.

Plans for academic year 2020-21:-

The State Government is likely to announce reopening of Schools from 17^th August 2020.   Till that time we are planning to conduct our School and learning activities as under :

1. We have sent a questionnaire to you to get your feed back about conducting on line classes and infrastructure available at your end.

2. All the parents would be informed about the results of last academic year and promotion to the next standard with the names of the respective class teachers, within the next few dates.
3. You are aware that in the first month of the School, base line tests are conducted which are known as diagnostic tests .  Initially, we will be sending assignments to check the readiness of the child for the new class.

4. In the mean time, our teachers are preparing to commence on line teaching, for classes 9^th and 10^th

5. We will be conducting on line classes for 1^st 8^th standards gradually after receiving feed back from you.

Text Books and note books :-

Like every year, we are in the process of ordering all the text Books from Balbharati, Pune and will communicate to you about their delivery shortly.
